...Kristina's Color Inspiration #28

This is my submission for Kristina's Color Inspiration #28 this week. I absolutely love these colors together! I decided to use some of the old Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Papers along with "Live Your Dreams" for this particular challenge. While preparing to make the card, I realized that I had purchased the Embossing Stacks that Stampin' Up offered several catalogs ago. So I whipped them out to see if the colors I would be using were there. The Soft Subtle Stack had a Sage Embossing Powder, and the Bold Bright Stack had an Orange Embossing Powder. I knew the orange one would be too bright if I used it on a white panel, so I opted to use a Ruby Red Cardstock panel instead. ..I think it turned out quite nicely, don't you? The sentiment (from the same set) was stamped in Ruby Red Craft Ink, then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Three Silver Brads and some 5/8" Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon was added to complete this vibrant creation.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you and hear from you again soon. I will leave you with this thought.....If the early bird gets the worm, then why does the second mouse get the cheese? Makes you wonder doesn't it? :-)

Until later...

I love how you picked out the image in embossing powders - gives it more dimension.
