...Inspiration Challenge #123

This is my submission for today's Inspiration Challenge at SCS...you can see the inspirational piece HERE. I used some of my new Textured Cardstock in Summer Sun, Only Orange, Real Red, and Taken With Teal. The flower is from the set "Stitched Exotics", and is heat embossed onto vellum in black. I cut out the bloom and colored the back side with the Yoyo Yellow Stampin' Write Marker. The Crop-a-Dile was used the apply the Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets to both the center of the flower and side of the orange panel. They were finished off by adding Teal KaiserScrapbook Rhinestones to the centers of all three. The sentiment and floral background are actually rub-ons from the Cherished Memories Rub-Ons Pack. You will be seeing this sketch again on Tuesday for my second sketch challenge, and I will also share another card for it, too.

I wanted to give you an update on Christian, and also wanted to thank you for all of your support and understanding over the past couple of weeks. Slowly, but surely, we are getting our family in order and settled into a routine again. Christian will start group therapy the week after next, and seems to be responding well to his medications. His tribunal has been moved from this past Wednesday to this upcoming Wednesday, so we still have no news for you there. I will keep you posted on our progression, and ask that you will still keep us in your prayers.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend! I hope to see you tomorrow with cards for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge and SCS's Featured Stamper Challenge. Untill then.....Hugs ~ Mercy
