...Glamorous Glitter Class ~ Thanks So Much

One last class card...another Glitter Window Technique card. I wanted to keep things as simple as possible this month after the lunacy of last month! LOL! So I only showcased one technique on two cards, then showed my ladies how to "emboss glitter" using Heat & Stick Powder.....Easy Peasy! The card base is Soft Sky that measured 11" X 4-1/4", and when folded to open at the bottom was 5-1/2" X 4-1/4". The layers on the focal image are Pink Passion (4-1/8" X 2-3/8"), Whisper White (3-7/8" X 2-1/8"), and Certainly Celery (4" X 2-1/4").

The large flower from the set "Polka Dots & Petals" was collage stamped in Certainly Celery Classic Ink onto the celery cardstock. The 1" Circle Punch and 1/2" Circle Punch were used to create windows in the celery cardstock. The white cardstock was placed behind the celery panel (stamped side up), and several stamps from the sets "Polka Dots & Petals" and "Little Pieces" were stamped through the "windows" in the following shades of classic ink: Certainly Celery, Soft Sky, and Pink Passion. The white stamped panel was set aside, and a piece of Clear Packaging Tape was added to the back side of the celery piece with the sticky side facing out the front of the windows. Dazzling Diamond Glitter was sprinkled over the exposed tape, and rubbed into each window to insure that the glitter would set into the tape. The excess glitter was tapped off, and SNAIL Adhesive was added to the back side of the celery piece. The celery piece was lined up with and attached to the stamped white piece with the stamped images visible through the windows. The glitter window panel was then attached to the pink piece using the same adhesive. Adhesive was also used to adhere the focal panel to the card base.

The Large Oval Punch was used to cut an oval out of scrap pieces of all the colors (except white). The sentiments are from the set, "So Much". "Thanks" was stamped in Pink Passion Classic Ink onto the sky oval, the edges were sponged in passion with a Sponge Dauber, then all three ovals were attached to each other with adhesive. The oval sentiment was attach to the card base with Dimensionals after "so much" was stamped in passion ink at the bottom of the card. The card was finished off by tying a piece of Soft Sky Double-Stitched Ribbon to the top.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all some time tomorrow. Don't forget.....if you would like to place a Stampin' Up order with me simply email me at the linked address found below my profile picture. I will be putting in an order next Friday (January 18th). Hugs ~ Mercy
