...Glamorous Glitter Class ~ Absolutely Fabulous

My stamp class this month is entitled "Glamorous Glitter", and this is one of my technique cards that features embossed glitter. The card base is So Saffron Cardstock cut to 6" X 3", and when folded in half to open from the bottom measures 3" square. The next layer up is Blue Bayou Cardstock measuring 3" X 1". It was attached to the card base using SNAIL Adhesive. Blue Bayou Double-Stitched Ribbon was tied around the center of the bayou strip, and finished in a simple knot. The sentiment is from the set "Absolutely Fabulous", and is stamped in Blue Bayou Classic Ink onto the card base just above the left corner of the bayou strip.

The flower is from the "Three For You Punch Box". There are several flower stamps in this set, but I used the largest single flower image. I was stamped the image three times onto a scrap piece of Purely Pomegranate Cardstock in VersaMark Ink. Heat & Stick Powder was sprinkled over the VersaMarked flower, then melted using a Heat Gun. While the heat & stick powder was still wet, Dazzling Diamond Glitter was added to it and heated up again with a heat gun...this sets the glitter into the heat & stick powder. A 1/16" Handheld Punch was used to punch a hole in the center of all three blooms, then a Silver Brad was added to each one. CutterBee Scissors were then used to cut out each flower, then Dimensionals adhered the blooms to the card base. The flower to the far right slightly hangs off over the edge of the card for a little flair.

That's it for today! I will have two other class cards for you tomorrow, and maybe even a challenge card {fingers crossed}! I have two classes this month (tomorrow night and next Tuesday), but next month I will be starting a Saturday morning beginners' stamp class...I am so excited! Well, enough rambling! I'm off to cut up all the cardstock needed for all the classes, so I will see you all later. Thanks for coming by......Hugs ~ Mercy
