...Shannan's Sketch Challenge

This is my first card for a sketch challenge issued by Shannan Teubner. She has posted this card sketch on her website, and the winner will receive some great blog candy...so I HAD to enter! It felt so good to be stamping again, but I had to take it slow with "the finger". It is still a little sore, but I can manage small amounts of pain. I can't wait to see the other entries on her website. You guys really need to go check out her blog...this girl has got it goin' on! Drop in and give her a hello!
My color scheme was inspired by a card I had seen by Meg Shumaker. I knew didn't want to copy her by using the same set she did, but I did want to use the blush and chocolate together. So I went to this website to find a winning combination. It turns out that it was the same combo that Meg used...crazy ain't it?! All you have to do is click one or more colors on the right, click the search button toward the top, and wait for the color combos to pop up. Just press reset to find another. It is wonderful! I spent a good half hour just playing around with it.
Alright, I've taken up enough of your time...so get out there and play!
Happy Stampin'!
Mercy
