...I Got To Play Today!

I finally got a whole day to dedicate to stamping and catching up with all of my challenges that I have missed. Needless to say, I have been a busy little beaver plugging away at best friend's house. We sat around all day and played to our little hearts' content...only that wasn't enough. I am headed back over there tomorrow to continue the festivities! But here are a couple of sample cards that I did this afternoon:
The card above was made for both a sketch challenge and an inspiration challenge. I just love the colors for this card. The inspiration was an ornament seen HERE. I didn't have any stamp sets with ornaments in them that I could manipulate that easily, so I was "inspired" to do something a little different with it.

This one was a little more complex. I have been wanting to use this set forever, but I had never been inspired to use it...so what did I do? I forced myself to use it to accomplish another Sketch challenge and a "Ways To Use It" challenge which involved using ribbon. So once again, two birds with one stone! I have actually begun liking this set since I've worked with it. It is a very classy and almost regal set. I hope you all enjoy the cards as much as I enjoyed making them today! See you all tomorrow with more "inspired" work.

Hugs~Mercy
