...Another Wet Paper Watercolored Card

I am simply addicted to Snowflakes by Stampin' Up! I sat down again today to make cards, and this was the first set I reached for. I had to create a card for the "Ways to Use It" challenge on SCS that utilized embellished corners (no corner punches, however). So this was what I came up with. I used brads to add a little something to the corners...it is simple, but I really like the how clean it turned out. I didn't dirty up the edges or tear the paper, so it was a totally different card than what I have been making. I can't wait to see what tomorrow's challenge has in store!
Other than cards, cards, and more cards, I don't have much to report. Except that I am patiently (NOT!) waiting for my starter kit to get here...HURRY, MR. BROWN! I am also getting out all of the stamp sets that I want to sell, and I have successfully covered my kitchen table! They are in stacks according to regular prices in the catalogs while I figure out how I am going to accomplish the enormous task of marking everything down. I was afraid that I would have a hard time letting go of it all, but it has actually been a relief. Most of the sets haven't ever been used, or they've only been used a couple of times. I would rather someone buy them so that they can be used and enjoyed...they are just taking up space at my house.
Well, I need to try to get to SCS and upload this card, so I will see you all tomorrow!
Hugs ~ Mercy

Hi Mercy, I like your designs that you have posted on your blog. Your comments are interesting as well. I have found that the font, bright colors and dark background makes it difficult to read. Just thought I'd give you an oppinion as to why you might not be having any strikes. It could just be me and my bifocals - take it for what it's worth! LOL

thanks for continuing to post on SCS. Your talent is remarkable!

Also, by centering your text, the eyes don't know where to connect after coming to the end of the line. Maybe left margin your text? Can you tell I'm in journalism? Hope this isn't sounding too critical. Your blog IS VERY GOOD - INFORMATIVE and FULL OF GREAT CREATIONS!

Oh Mercy, I HATED asking questions in school, but I'm going to have to break down and ask this. I tried my best to figure out how you made this beautiful card and I just can't. What gives the snowflakes so much dimension? This is just a beautiful card!!!!
I just can't stop staring at it!
