Happy Saturday! It's time to get "crazy" again with the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog, and Lynda Benden will be issuing this month's challenges...and are they GREAT ones! For this week she wants us to create a card or project with a Kraft Cardstock base. As you all know, I LOVE me some Kraft Cardstock, so I was stoked to see this one! Our sponsor for this month week is Club Anya & Friends, so I chose to use both "Cheeky Rockabilly" and "Anya Says" by The Greeting Farm. I stamped the image in Black Ink onto some PTI White Cardstock, then colored it with Copic Sketch Markers. I paired the colored image up with some patterned papers from the Granola paper pack by BasicGrey. You all know how much I love layers, and I decided to use several on this card! I created the large scallops on the black paper panel using a Slit Punch, then added stitching and piercing to other panels. I used the simplest embellishments possible....brads. I added three to the blue panel, then put one in the center of the flower that I created with the Trio Flower Punch. Then VIOLA.....my card was complete! :)
Now let's see what the rest of the design team have created for you to peruse:
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by to see me, and now it's your turn to create a card or project that incorporates a Kraft Cardstock Base to share it with us. Be sure to add your creation to Mister Linky back at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog post...we can't wait to see what you come up with! See you back here tomorrow with a card using images from My Favorite Things! Until then...
