...Crazy 4 Birthdays

Happy Saturday, everyone! I must admit that I feel like such a slacker today! As you've noticed, my post is going up very late. I have been battling another round of bronchitis since this crazy-cold weather moved into our area, but I'm afraid that I've been defeated. I have been totally exhausted from coughing...so much so that I laid down at 4:30 last night and woke up at 6:00 this morning. Luckily, I feel better after getting some much-needed rest, and I got a chance to stamp today...even though I did have to do it in stages.
Saturdays mean that it's Crazy 4 Challenges time....and I loves me some crazies! LOL! Our challenges this month are being created by our stamping sister, Lori Boyd. This week's challenge was to create a birthday card or project. So here is mine:
I decided to use my "Heidi Among The Flowers" image from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps along with some of my Eva patterned paper by BasicGrey. Heidi was watercolored using Classic Ink Pads and an Aquapainter. Since she is a fairy after all, I added some sparkle to her wings with a little Crystal Stickles. I made the centers of the flowers and the twinkle in her eyes pop using a white gel pen, then pierced the edges of the green panel using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. I added a Jumbo Eyelet, Eggplant Ribbon, and Linen Thread as the only embellishment.
Now let's see what the rest of the ladies have in store for you today:
That's it for today...thanks for stopping by! It's your turn to create a card or project using this same sketch, and share it with us. Be sure to add your creation to Mister Linky back at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog post...we can't wait to see what you come up with! Until later...
