...Happy Birthday, TGF!

Today has been set aside to celebrate the Anyaversary of The Greeting Farm. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed using these wonderful and playful stamp sets. I think what first drew me to them was not only the art itself, but the fact that they were easy to watercolor also...and you all know that I like me some watercoloring! The stamps are made of high-quality red rubber, and the images are so clean and crisp when stamped. They take ink so well, and they don't easily smudge. It is no wonder that these phenomenal sets have been a HUGE success!

I used the flowers from TGF's "Hope & Grace" set, and waterolored them with an Aquapainter and Classic Ink Pads after they were heat embossed. The stems were made out of Old Olive Cardstock, and attached to the focal panel using Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue. The sentiment was from the set "Sentiments", and was also heat embossed. The purple patterned paper was from the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper pack, while the olive patterned paper was from the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper pack. You know I can't do hardly anything without using my Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, and this card is no different...there is piercing all over the place! LOL! I also used the Scallop Edge Punch to create the white scallop at the bottom of the card.

...and of course I used Dimensionals! On the focal panel alone there are Dimensionals under each flower, under the olive layer, then again under the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock layer. I added a silver mini paper clip from the Clips Assortment pack, and then tied a piece of Rich Razzleberry Dotted Grosgrain Ribbon to the end of it. It took a while for me to get this card completed, but once I had sketched the layout I knew exactly what I wanted to do. In fact, you will be seeing this sketch some Tuesday in the near future {ahem, ahem}. :)
That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by to visit, but it's time for you to hop on over to the next participant to see how they are celebrating the birthday of this amazing company. I am going to be stamping the day away with a friend, Pam Varnell, but I can't wait to get back home and do a little hopping of my own! I can see it now...me in my pajamas, sitting in a comfy chair, and a cup of coffee at my side...HEAVEN! Have a wonderful Saturday, and I see you all tomorrow. Until then...HAPPY HOPPING!
