...A Ribbon Dirty Dare (DTDG08Jody)

This is my submission for Monday's Dirty Dare issued by Jody Morrow (texasjodylynn) at SCS: It's All About the Ribbon! I do believe that this is the ONE retiring stamp set that I am going to miss the most...so elegant, and so versatile. Goodbye, old friend {SNIFF SNIFF}.

I started my favorite Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon....love, love, love this color! I then moved on to an Always Artichoke Cardstock card base. I also used layers of Regal Rose Cardstock, Rose Red Cardstock, and Basic Black Cardstock. I inked the Leaves a la Carte Jumbo Roller with Rose Red Classic Ink, and rolled it over the rose piece of cardstock. The scallops were then created on the regal piece of cardstock using the new Scalloped Edge Punch. The completed punched piece was pierced with a Paper Piercer in the center of each scallop.

The flourish and sentiment from "Carte Postale" were stamped in Jet Black Staz-On Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for placement. The flower and leaves were stamped in the same Staz-On shade onto a piece of Watercolor Paper, then colored using a Rose Red Stampin' Write Marker, an Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Marker, and an Aquapainter. Once dried, they were cut out using CutterBee Scissors, and an Always Artichoke Brad was added to the center of the flower before being placed on the focal image using Dimensionals.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by today, and I will see you again tomorrow with another creation. Until then...
